Under My Skin is a song about love, longing, regret and moving towards and away from each other. It is a very personal song of which singer Hella wrote the lyrics to describe her troublesome relation with a very dear person she still loves.

The song starts bare, with sparse guitars only, and as it progresses it becomes warm and full with cellos, violins, basses and beats. The instrumentation adds to the drama of Hella’s heartfelt voice.

I loved writing the music for this song and playing and producing it, it has that human touch which goes beyond words.
